Gbs+

Hi all, would it be safer to do Caesarian if you are gbs+ Rather than normal delivery? I am 38 weeks and a half and my baby position is also posterior position... not sure to go Caesarian or normal birth?

Actually it’s quite safe for vaginal delivery as long as you are started on antibiotics when you go into labour:) Baby also still has time to turn from occiput posterior to anterior. For my first baby, she was posterior all the way till I was in the delivery suite, then she was transverse. My gynae did say that if I struggled to push baby out, she may have to bring me to the operating theatre, but I really wanted to try, so I pushed with all my heart and my baby turned at the last minute and came out nicely. 🤣 That said, if you’d prefer a Caesarean section, that’s okay too! It’s really your choice, but both are feasible options.
