Helper

Please tell me that it’s ok for our babies to be more attached to the helper than us right now. That they don’t remember anything at this age, and we have time to build the relationship later when they are older and really build memories. :(

I understand the feeling as I am also a FTWM with helper. It is absolutely ok, babies will know who is their parents. Helpers will come and go but you are their constant. My kid doesn't even remember who his previous nanny/helper is already. I certainly don't recall who changed my diapers as a baby. 😆

My mum used to be a nanny and the babies stay with her for 5weekdays and only go home on weekends. However, she told me babies know who are their parents and who are not, despite them spending so much time with my mum. So don’t be discouraged. It’s never too late to start building relationship

It’s okay! But because you’re expressing concern, I would also encourage you to make the most of the time you have with your baby:) As long as you’re bonding with your little one and spending quality time, they’ll have a longing to be with you.

Yes, bringing baby out for mini adventures is something wonderful you can do! My baby now knows that when my husband straps on the baby carrier, it’s adventure time! She starts bouncing and smiling/ laughing 😄

if they spend more time with the helper, they will definitely be more attached to them..but think of it positively. it means the helper treats your LO well..

Yes, it's OK. Shows that your helper is taking good care of her. Don't worry. Try to spend more time with baby and interact more with baby.

It's perfectly fine nothing to worry about(: It would be more worrying if our kids dislike the helper!

It's alright for me. It's better than they dislike the helper

Spend time with your baby whenever you can
