my inlaws wanted to send my elder (5yo) to learn music. i didnt. i have an electric organ at home, and he doesn't even seem to show a single interest in it. he just slams the entire keyboard. Whereas he is very interested in drawing lately, i may send him to art class instead
music helps the mind in many ways, coordination, discipline. music is what you see from the surface. kindermusik is a good option.
Yamaha is good! send them there :)
