Let my child take my last name or the father's?

Need po ng opinions ninyo mga moms. I've been with this wonderful guy for 10 years. We decided to have a baby this year. Currently 11 weeks pregnant. Di po kami legally married. Thing is, I have a few family member telling me na ang apelyido ko ilagay sa birth certificate and rightfully declaring him as the father, to make things easier daw po in case something happens and we part ways. Some of them tells me na kunin apelyido ng father. Nalilito na po tuloy ako. I just need varying points of view. Salamat po.
