Need advice. My mum was in icu and now in normal ward. She has serious bout of the flu. Coughing, vomitting and high fever which has not broken for 1 day. I am a breastfeeding Mom of a newborn. Should I be visiting her? And if yes, how Long? I don't want to catch what she has and pass it to my baby.

I understand your worries on your mother's condition however it is not worth the risk to visit your mother until her condition is under controlled. Newborn's immune system is still very weak. You can ask other family member to update your mother's condition. Hope your mother gets well soon.
