Confinement Nanny

My nanny has over 5 years of experience. In a year she does about 8 confinement. When my 2 wk old baby cries at night an hour or so after her last feed, she tells me she could still be hungry and tops up an additional 15-30ml formula. Is that right? Any mummies experience this too? She says it's based on her experience with many fussy babies at night

I think 15-30ml is alright. At 2 weeks, sometimes baby do cluster feeding, and want to drink again within a short amount of time. Believe it or not, my first daughter wanted to drink every 15 minutes 😞 But after a while, babies can space out the feeds:) Some are able to do it early on. My kids took more than 4 months to be able to drink 2-3 hours apart.

Yes when baby is young they are hungry easily

Yes. I think after a while the baby feeding habits change a bit as the baby grows . After the confinement lady left, we don't really follow what the confinement lady says
