My partner lives in US long before we had a baby and soon enough, we'll be migrating to his place. What language do you think I should teach my son? English or Filipino? I don't want him confused, as I've learned that teaching two languages somehow delays speech, however, I also don't want him to forget our Filipino roots. What do you think is the best way to deal with this?

English first because this will be the means of your communication if you will be migrating in US. Don't worry because once your son is ready you can slowly teach him our native language. Also from time to time to can show to your son Filipino culture and the beautiful places that we have. Always pray..
