My partner lives in US long before we had a baby and soon enough, we'll be migrating to his place. What language do you think I should teach my son? English or Filipino? I don't want him confused, as I've learned that teaching two languages somehow delays speech, however, I also don't want him to forget our Filipino roots. What do you think is the best way to deal with this?

I think that it is best to learn English first since that's his tool to socialize with the kids in your neighborhood. If you think that your child can speak English more fluently, then you can inject Filipino by teaching him filipino songs, etc.
