There are many factors on baby walking. Some babies learn to walk early, some a little late than the "normal". Usually a baby begins to walk at 12mons - 50% of them. The other 50%'s moms like you don't need to panic but can check out the factors that might be causing it... and agree with Dazzle, consulting ask your PD who knows your baby's track will also help. http://www.askdrsears.com/topics/parenting/child-rearing-and-development/walking/baby-walking

My first 2 kids started to walk around 13 months. My neighbor's kid and another friend's kid only starting to walk at 18 months old. Thus, do give your little one more time for him to develop at its pace. If you are still worry, you can bring your baby to PD or hospital specialist to have a further check. If you are concern on the cost, you can get a referral letter from polyclinic and go to kkh or NUH hospital.

Not at all! Let children develop at their own pace. They all learn to walk eventually. Friends whose kids were slow to crawl or walk, took their kids to baby gyms where kids were really encouraged to be active. That helped them speed up their motor development

This article says that some kids walk at 17 or 18 months. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/a5170/your-13-month-olds-development If your baby is able to stand sturdily and attempts to walk, there should be no need to worry. Doesn't hurt to ask your PD though.

My daughter too started walking really late. She very much preferred to drag her bum everywhere, sometimes even rolling around. She only started taking interest in walking at about 1.5 years old and by 2, she was already running everywhere

Different child have developed differently at their own phase. Dont stress over their development. Guide them in walking by using those push walkers. If your toddler isnt walking by 18 months old, do let the PD know at their next visit

My daughter started walking without support when she was 15 months..i don't think you need to worry as all kids have their on pace grow.
