My baby keeps looking left and right but not straight ahead (or at me) - is that normal??
Yup, agree with Jaxy. Your baby is prbably just curious about his/her surrounding. When it comes to baby’s vision, here are some signs that you could look out for: - Excessive tearing: may indicate blocked tear ducts - Red or encrusted eye lids: could be a sign of an eye infection - Constant eye turning: may signal a problem with eye muscle control - Extreme sensitivity to light: may indicate an elevated pressure in the eye - Appearance of a white pupil: may indicate the presence of an eye cancer If you observe any of these signs, do bring your baby to your pediatrician or optometrist for an evaluation. Read moreMy baby when she was 2 - 3 months did the same. I think that's normal to babies. Also, their vision is starting to see more colors and I believe that they enjoy seeing the colors. At 4 months, my baby started to focus on 1 thing for a longer time. Don't worry, your baby is doing fine.
It seems that your baby is curious with it's surrounding. Try holding a toy infront of your baby and interact with them to see if they are able to focus on you. Do not worry much as young babies usually aren't unable to see well yet till they are about 5 months old.

Was normal when my baby was 2-3 months too. She's 6 months now and no issues to move head left or right :)
