To me the price is quite high however if we ever really need to use it (hopefully not).. it becomes cheap! Having an insurance only may not be enough, but with the help of storing both cord blood n stem cell, if there is anything happen in future, insurance will cover financially and this storage will save time from finding the perfect match.
The odds of using it are low. But people view it like insurance, I guess. I donated my LO’s cord blood to the SCBB. Who knows, it may help someone some day...
