Sintetic Hormone Injection

Any mummies having had this Sintetic Hormone Injection given every 3 months once experience? Once had the injection, a week after light period is back and does it bother your routine on breastfeeding baby? Normally breastfeeding mummy won't have period unless breastfeeding stops right? I have no idea since it was my first time family planning experience. Please advice. Thanks mummies?
