Puree for 4 months old

Hi mummies, doctor told me I can start giving my LO puree but had no idea where to start? Can I give carrot puree to my LO first? Beside carrot, what other ingredient I can use?

My doc advice: when we adult having foods like banana, potato, avacado etc try to put some on baby mouth see if he's interested, no need to waste time start prepare till we think that they are ready. Create interest 1st and make sure they can sit upright My baby is 5 months old, I haven't start feeding him any solid food yet cause he seems like no interest in the food when we are eating I will try baby cereal tomorrow πŸ˜‰ https://www.babybonus.msf.gov.sg/parentingresources/web/Babies/BabiesNutrition/BabiesIntroducing_Solids/Babies_Introducing_Solids?_afrLoop=16840065586220130&_afrWindowMode=0&_afrWindowId=null#%40%3F_afrWindowId%3Dnull%26_afrLoop%3D16840065586220130%26_afrWindowMode%3D0%26_adf.ctrl-state%3D9wydt3oa9_4

Personally I think 4 months is way too early to start.. best to wait at least 5.5 - 6 months. You can try giving fruits eg, avocado, banana, dragon fruit, pear, steamed apples, peach strawberries, blueberries, papaya, mango, kiwi. Or vegetables like carrot, broccoli, sweet potato, asparagus, pumpkin, cauliflower, zucchini, peas, kale, brussel sprouts, corn, chickpeas. Or grains like quinoa, lentils, brown rice, couscous, oats.
