Hi mum out there, do you all carry you baby immediately when they cry?

I would observe and pat my baby first. Sometimes they just want to feel that you're around and will eventually calm down. If patting doesn't work then I'll carry. No harm carrying them too because they won't stay baby forever. Cherish every moment!

When baby is newborn then yes. Now that she’s 4 months old, we will talk to her to calm her down first. If she doesnt stop after few tries, then will pick her up. Most times is because she’s sleepy and can’t sleep.

I don't. I will find out what she wants from her cue before carrying her. Sometimes they just need your attention. :) partly because I didn't want to create this habit when she knows she cry I will pick her up immed.

Slowly you can differentiate whether is it a fake cry or real cry. But at newborn stage, I do carry immediately when baby cry

Yes but sometimes I have no choice but to leave him crying as I am bathing and looking after him alone

For newborn yes. Or if the baby cry until voice stops and face very red u better carry

Yes for newborn. Or if I can smell something, will check diaper for poo.

Super Mum

No. Take a few second to understand the cry then decide to carry or feed

Try not to as I don’t want to make it like a habit for my baby.
