When do you visit the Gynae once you know you are pregnant ?

The moment you got a positive on the pregnancy kit. When do you visit the gynae ? I saw article said that we can skip first visit after week 6 and visit on around week 12. Do you guys do that ?

I went to gynae after I tested positive on the preg kit.

12 is too far. Usually is around week 6-7

As long as baby movement u can feel, and baby is gaining weight can skip some checks. Or request for a later date. But I know got kkh there are certain checks can't skip!
