Walang case if you feel keeping your maiden name. Plan ko yan bfore pero I decided to hyphenated mine. Now, if you are married na. Better fix atleast ung SSS and Philhealth mo. As far as I know kasi I gave birth lang dn nitong March. Though may marriage certifcate ka na mppakita, magiging big question ung hndi pa updated ung data mo. :) para iwas hassle ka nalang dn. Congrats!!!

Mommy! same here. Ganyan din problem ko. 😓 no idea at all ako. wala pa din kase marriage certificate namin. 😱

Wala po yan magiging problem just show them your marriage certificate. You can also use ur husband's surname upon admitting. Its the marriage certificate thats very important.

we actually have a law here in the Philippines that says all married women are allowed to use and keep their maiden names, thus all government offices should accept and shall not affect the bearer. i am keeping my maiden name, and has not change anything yet to any of my IDs. I will keep my passport the same.

sa hr po namin.inasikaso muna change status ko po.actually madali lang.sila na kasi nag.asikaso. bale philhealth id ang pinakamabilis na makukuha mo.at pwede maging basis sa pagclaim ng ibang benefits like sss.madali lang naman po mag change status.yung sa birth cert, as long as kasal kayo wala pong problema.

mas okay po n asikasuhin mo n change of surname lalo pwde k nmn po pumila sa priority lane. mahirap po kc hindi tugma ung last name especially sa SSS at Philhealth, baka mgka-conflict sa pgkuha ng benefits/claims.

nanganak ako last year dec 2018 kinasal kami dec 2017 .. hubby ko nag asikaso lahat nung nanganak ako kahit until now eh dpa ako nakakapag change status at nakakapag palit ng surname.
