How many people with baby has been rejected by private hires?
Would like to know how difficult for parents with children to take private hire rides. I heard too many angry sharing from my range of friends. When rejected, what will you do next?
most of my case was lucky I would say. my lo is only 3 months old and before that I have to bring her to see doc by myself (my husband have to work). they will pick me up and say by right they can't pick me up cause they can't clam insurance. they was being kind and thoughtful. because I alone carrying a big bag with my lo. I believe is I'm with someone they will just ask me to cancel the ride. thank you to those whose being kind to someone like me whose need help.
Read moreI’ve always booked taxi. Except for once (also my first time bringing baby out), it slipped my mind and booked a private hire. But the driver was kind to remind me by right he should have rejected. But the place I’m going is less than 5 mins drive so he’s ok. From then on, I always ensure either I choose taxi option or just use ComfortDelGro app to book it
Read moreI didn't experience this despite I'm always booking private car rides. But I did heard the Grab is much stricter in terms of infant car seat. I changed to Ryde app now and I must say the driver I encounter are much nicer than those I booked through Grab, even though drivers uses multiple apps booking... 🤷♀️

Take taxi. Dont make things difficult for private hires. Just earning a living, not to get involved in breaking the law
