Hi Nidhi, I am 38 and I have one daughter. My hair too started falling after delivery and it has not stopped. I mean sometimes hairball is less and in some season more. I have now developed a broad parting line plus my hair which once we're so luscious get tied up in a baby rubber band. I too get depressed at times because of this because I feel it has also affected the way I look. I had done best of treatment for my hair in Delhi, Mumbai and now in Chandigarh where I have moved but to no real avail. I can give you false story too as how I used such and such thing and now hairball has stopped but I would prefer to be honest. I think I am into the category where doctors refer to you as condition called as alopecia in women. Here women experience partial baldness that may be thinking of hair or scanty hair at the crown. I still believe that I am not amongst those women and there still would be something that I can use to make my hair fall stop and also help in regrowth. With all sincerity I would suggest that try using the juice of onion religiously on your scalp each time before the days you wash your hair. All you have to do is gently massage the squeezed juice of onion on your scalp for 15 or 20 minutes and let it stay for say half an hour and then wash off using g any mild shape that is which has least chemical. Better have a bottle of homemade shampoo at home. Follow it for 6 months and see if it works. Meanwhile take care of your diet, eat nuts, curd, etc., and try to stay stressfree. If possible do meditation and yoga.
okay...i have had the same problem too and in my case it was due to a condition known as psoriasis, where the skin on the scalp grows too fast, much faster than other people's and hence starts peeling off, causing hairfall. i have been getting treatment for the same for some years now and it is in control. other than that, you can use natural remedies such as pure virgin coconut oil, castor oil, hibiscus oil, neem oil and even olive oil and mustard oil as hair massage therapies. leave on for an hour or so and then wash with a herbal shampoo such as biotique. stay away from any chemical based hair products. and yes, stress less and eat well as these can also cause hair fall.

Hi Use coconut oil and kadhi patta. Let kadhi patta leaves heat in the coconut oil till they turn brown. Let them stay in oil for 15 minutes and later sieve it and massage your scalp with this oil. Do it consistently for a month and you will experience decline in hair fall.

use coconut or olive oil. warm it with a garlic clove and then apply it. It's been 3 months post delivery.....im using it on daily basis and it's worth rather than buying chemical based oils for hairfall
use castor oil mix two -three drops of rosemerry oil. warm the oil. Apply on roots. keep that for 15-20min. and then wash. no need to keep it overnight. do this 2-3 times a week.
heat up coconut oil, add some curry leaves, and hibiscus flower. Boil it nicely. Strain it and massage it on your scalp. This will help with the problem.
You should continue eating folic acid post delivery to avoid hairfall problem.
