I think it's one of the superstitious beliefs and pansin ko din when I was young including my siblings, nagkakasakit kami either before or after birthday. With my kids so far, hindi naman. Maybe coincidence lang pero madami lang nakaka experience ng ganito. There's really no scientific explanation to this.
