Is there an early dismissal fee for confinement nannies in Singapore? Can anyone advise please?

I guess it depends on where you are hiring your confinement nanny from. Agencies might be able to offer you a replacement nanny at no charge but a confinement nanny you hire independently will expect to be compensated for her loss of income. A friend wanted to let go of her confinement nanny earlier, as she had to travel out, but she had to pay for the additional 20 days that she would not be using her. The agency refused to cooperate on the matter.

Most agencies will ask you to pay for the full period for early dismisall without cause as confinement nannies are in such demand. However if it's with cause, they usually find you a replacement free of charge.
