No. Do let your child develop at his own pace. There are milestones at each month for children to meet, and standing is usually a milestone for 11 month olds. Is your baby able to sit up unassisted? Agree with Jamie. My son also loves to "stand" but that would mean one of us would have to constantly support him lol. He hates sitting and would start leaning back on anything and anyone if we try to make him sit and when it comes to crawling... he would just lay his head down and sigh if we try to tempt him to move with his favourite toy.
