I'm keen to wean my 2.5yo off the breast because it's getting a bit too much for me. We co-sleep and he latches almost the entire night but mostly for comfort. His younger Brother drinks before sleeping then sleeps through the night so at least I don't have to struggle with two. Any tips to help with the older one?

Have a look at this article: http://themilkmeg.com/the-night-boob-how-to-gently-night-wean-your-toddler-from-breastfeeding-and-bed-sharing/ Love the way she wrote and her suggestions are practical and realistic. Every child is different and it may take some trial and error. Like how the writer put it, sometimes it may be one step forward and two steps back before one can eventually progress. Hope you find a method that could work for your child!! Good luck!

Thanks will have a read!

Have you tried a pacifier for the older child? If it's just comfort latching, maybe the pacifier wouldn't be such a bad idea? Will save you some heartbreak over losing sleep...

Unfortunately he starting spitting the paci at 7 months and refused it since
