I'm a ftwm who leave my 1yo with grandparents in the day, and sometimes he rejects me when i try to carry him from the hands of grandma. sigh i know i shouldn't take it personally. i m already spending all my free time with him. what else can i do? does it get better mummies?

There is nothing much we can do as FTWM. Kids will always be closer to their main caretaker. As they get older it will be Better because you can do more activities with them during your free time and this will strengthen the bond. Mommies will always be mommies. The bond will be strong. And when they go to pre school they will start to understand the role of moms. It should get better but of course you will have to continuously make efforts to have activities to bond with them. Put them to sleep every night. Have 1-1 sessions with them .
