I'm a ftwm who leave my 1yo with grandparents in the day, and sometimes he rejects me when i try to carry him from the hands of grandma. sigh i know i shouldn't take it personally. i m already spending all my free time with him. what else can i do? does it get better mummies?

It's a phase that he rejects u sometimes because he has after all spent the whole day playing with the grandparents. His grandparents will soon become his favorites - which I see in a good way as it will be good grandparent-grandson relationship. I think that u can try to remind him every now and then that u love him and why he has to be at grandparents place. Try to do fun activities with him whatever that may be - like going out to the park or other places to "play" so that mummy can also be fun to be with. Try to be involved in his evening activities as much as possible so that mummy does not equal to just home and sleep - it could be bedtime story, a short walk to the park if any near ur house or some play time at home/at grandparents home
