Down Syndrome Test

I'm 37 and 16 weeks pregnant now. Did not do any down syndrome test to check if baby is fine due to finances. Recently I've been having sleepless nights because of the fear that baby might have down syndrome or some health issues. Was it a huge mistake for not doing the test?

I’m 36, and I’ll do it. May cost a bit of money but if my baby isn’t healthy when it’s born. More $ and energy will be involved. That said, knowing beforehand would get us prepared to make a right decision. If you’ve already made up ur mind if not taking the test. Just stay positive, be happy and stay healthy. Overthinking too much will not be good for the baby.
