If you were Maxine Medina's mom, what would you tell your daughter amidst all the bashing on social media?

If I had to keep myself in her mom's position, I would tell her that English is not her first language and instead of looking at the hindsight, it is so brave of her to attempt in the language which is not hers, and that too without fear on a platform where she had known that she would be judged. I would have told her to give a deaf ear to social media bashing and keep her focus on her aim.
