Travelling at 14 weeks pregnant

Hi all. I'd like to know if it's safe to travel by plane while pregnant. My family and I are planning to go on a trip to Langkawi next week. I'm 13 weeks + now and turning 14 weeks next Monday. I had a scan at 12 weeks and doctor said my baby is normal. But I forgot to ask my doctor about travelling. Any advice?

Best to inform your gynae as they can prescribe some meds to standby in case there's complications like spotting etc. 1st trimester i went Bangkok and I was given some duphaston and anti nausea pills to standby. Nearing end of 2nd trimester I went Langkawi and got meds and doc letter just in case. Also try to make sure u get proper travel insurance which cover maternity just to be safe. I think both trips we bought aviva as they cover preg related complications. Hope this helps!
