Ee this is very disgusting. I think as a parent you can out rightly tell the person not to. If I'm not the parent I will still address it, cause it's too unhygienic. The person may not know what himself or herself is carrying and with the current virus outbreak, this shouldnt be tolerated. I know some aunties (including my mom) always do this to cool the food down when we were young. Even as a kid I already felt disgusted and was so traumatised that I dont allow my mom to feed my child now. This has to be stopped immediately.

That is very unhygienic, please don’t be afraid to tell them immediately to stop. It is for your child. It’s it’s too political, perhaps get your parents (whoever side they are directly related to), to raise their concerns about this. Be firm, you can do it :)

Super Mum

I've read a case where an adult had a virus which is mild to her, but when she fed the infant in the same way it transferred to the infant and became dangerous... If you don't want to be direct can send the relative those articles and don't say anything haha

Eeeyer. If my child I will Straight away say. No need to know how to tell. So disgusting. Actually I will inform the aunt or uncle first. Whether they fine with it 😅don't want later they say I kpo.

Omg. I will scold the relative immediately. Wouldn’t care about being disrespect or what.

tell them directly in a nice way.. tell them the consequences, send them articles

Any article ?

Hey, This is really unacceptable. Please tell her to immediately stop

Eew. Just be straightforward. Don’t need to beat around the bush.

Tell them it’s a hygiene problem and it’s just not right!

I'll tell them straight and be firm about it
