Hais. I'm sorry that you're subjected to such old fashioned thinking, and that's even after already having a boy. Unfortunately, there's nothing much you can do. Old people's mindsets regarding gender preferences are already fixed, there isnt anything you can do to change it. Just keep away from this person as much as you can (hard as it is), and try not to take her opinions to heart. Men need women to procreate, so unless men can do it themselves, having girls is absolutely necessary. And girls are more caring to their parents in general. Have pity that this person probably didnt experience that coz of the overwhelming bias for boys.
I actually hid my pregnancy and went into hiding until i gave birth because it was slightly complicated. Only my side of the family knew. That being said now the comment is go have another baby - boy when I am trying to survive life with a baby less than 1 year old with just hubby and no help.
Can let her know that baby’s gender is determined by her son’s sperm so its her son’s “fault” its not a boy 🤭
