I don like the way my mum makes fun or mock at my husband behind his back or even telling jokes abt husband to her friends and bro's gf. Whenever bro's gf sees hubby, she will laugh and says "oh nth". I feel so rude and no respect for me and hubby. I told mum nt to do it but she seems so offended and saying im too sensitive everything also cannot, jus a joke i also take it so seriously. Asking Why cant they laugh and joke abt it? Nt as if they mock in front of hubby. Feeling angry about it. What can i do?

I think it depends on ur family members temperament and u n ur husband's. It's true that some pple don't care - my family usually talk in a making fun way / sarcastic or sound like going to quarrel but we are really just talking - it's the way we talk. If that is not well w u n ur husband, I would be firm and if need be I would kick up a big fuss abt it. I rather known as petty and make everyone upset abt it once and for all then to always have to swallow it and pretend and have so much pent up unhappiness which will become a volcanic eruption one day
