Spotting in early pregnancy

I am currently 5 weeks plus pregnant and experience some light spotting. My first gynae is on 16 Nov. Should I be concern to see a gynae ASAP or I can wait till my first appt?

Spotting during the early stage of pregnancy is pretty common. It may be due to implantation too. Shouldn't feel any pain and spotting is just a few spots and not bleeding. Do let your gynae know so he/she can check on your pregnancy further.

I've been spotting since week 5th and stopped week 14th. baby is fine. gynae just suggested that I rest more and that's it! very worrisome but its all waiting game for me. as long as it stays as spotting and not bleeding

try to observe whether the spotting is increasing or lasts more than a few days... your gynae shd prescribe you Duphaston

I read that light spotting is fine.. If u are worried, u can see a GP first :)

spotting during early pregnancy is common but will be good to let your gynae know
