Avoid spicy , oily n fried foods. Also cold drinks. It will triggers cough. - Eat light meals eg: fish porridge / soups etc - Homemade Honey or lemon water / barley warm water. - cough lozenges - Gargle with warm salt water for a sore throat / cough Plenty of rest. Drink plenty of water

I see. Cough may a week or two will recover.. Depends on your immune system You can include vitamins c daily.
