8week pregnant and suffering from cough

I am 8week pregnant and from last couple of days suffering from cough and sometime abdominal pain we have consult with gync and take medicine as well but still not recover pls suggest the home remedies to recover from this situation

Avoid spicy , oily n fried foods. Also cold drinks. It will triggers cough. - Eat light meals eg: fish porridge / soups etc - Homemade Honey or lemon water / barley warm water. - cough lozenges - Gargle with warm salt water for a sore throat / cough Plenty of rest. Drink plenty of water

I see. Cough may a week or two will recover.. Depends on your immune system You can include vitamins c daily.
