How to stop sibling fights? Any tried and tested methods?
I let them be when they're not hurting each other (at least not too much) haha.
Let them go through the motion. When they need you they’ll come to you and that’s when you can start using these as teachable moments to guide and do deep talks ◡̈
Unless it gets dangerous I don’t bother to interfere too much. These are practical ways to learn problem solving and negotiating! And some of the best memories of childhood. 😀
I just let them fight! As Long as they are not doing anything dangerously crazy to each other.
I agree with the other mums here. I let them quarrel without getting physical. I don't allow them to hit each other. If they are really upset with each other, I have encouraged them to sit down and talk. Sometimes that involves yelling and tears, but it's okay, at least they're talking about it.Read more
- When u have more than 1 child , is it common to have sibling fights n squabbles or even his simple snatching of toys n crying ? It is driving me nuts .. I have a 2 years old n 5 years old
Well my kids are the exact same ages as yours! It's very common and it's normal. But no, they are NOT driving me nuts. My method is repetitively separate them during a fight. Calm them down, talk to them individually asked what's going on, Then talk senses to them individually. I will then punish both of them but elder one harsher becoz she is the oldest she should guide the younger one along, help me to tc of didi, not getting in a fight with him. Just keep on repeat my way whenever they squabble or fight. Gradually they will remember my words, my teachings and slowly.. rarely fight. Squabble yes. That's very common.Anonymous

- Bio oil is not working on my stretch marks! Any other tried and tested methods to get rid of my stripes?
You can try coconut oil too, something not that expensive/high in commitment! I personally didn't have stretch marks until 32 weeks, and suddenly they started appearing ... One, two .. A few .. then suddenly one day it looked like a bear attacked me HAHA. Took me quite a while to be comfortable with it (photo attached is 11months postpartum) but I guess they're something like "battle scars"? Also, they fade away with time - so don't worry too much about them :)Nalika Unantenne
