If baby is breastfeeding dont worry about water! BM is good and more the sufficient with that being said, its just my two cents. Alternatively, few spoons would be good, to rinse and cleanse baby mouth.
Depending on weight? When I attend the weaning talk, the dr mentioned estimated 100ml/ kg of fluid in a day. So u minus the Amt of milk the LO drinks the rest can be give in water

Once baby starts solids, you might want to give him a few sips of expressed milk or water with his solids. Use a cup.
