How do you manage the summer heat if there is no time to get out of the city? Any suggestions on how to cool down in Manila?

I would suggest a visit to Manila Ocean Park. Escape the summer heat by exploring "Trails to Antarctica". https://www.manilaoceanpark.com/attractions_encounters#ae_1 Walk through the exhibits and have a go at their activities. You will experience being in the snow and probably forgot (for that moment) that you are battling the summer heat in Manila. ;) This attraction is open: Monday to Friday - 10:00AM to 8:00PM Weekends & Holidays - 9:00AM to 8:00PM Last Entry - 7:15PM

There are staycation areas within the city. You might want to consider that. But medyo pricey nga sya if you'll do it on a regular basis during the summer season. Mas tipid pa din kahit na mghapon nakabukas air con sa bahay. And store lots of fluids at home to keep the family hydrated.

We always have stocks for cold treats during summer season - for fruit shakes, ice pops, etc. We also let the children dip in their kiddie pool and during peak hours when it's really too hot, we stay in one room with full air condition in the afternoon.

There's always going to the mall, but I prefer cooling down with ice-cold treats like halo-halo and ice candy!! Homemade iced coffee is also a quick inexpensive fix.

Just stay in a hotel with nearby malls and casino. You may want to try resort's world area or Okada in Pasay.

24/7 aircon sa room.if grabe talaga init. Bed rest kasi ๐Ÿ˜ž

Stay sa bhay tapos bukas lang aircon..
