At first, i didnt know it was hiccups, but i read that it was possible for them to hiccup. Yeah, it kinda feel like "heartbeat" thumping, and i just followed my instinct that yeah it could be the baby hiccuping. For me it lasts a few mins plus minus, and few times a day.
