Toddler bites

Sometimes it helps to look at the circumstances in which this happens - if it is recurring there might be a common theme. For example is she looking for attention? is she with other children that aren't sharing and is getting frustrated? etc. If there is a common theme it will be easier to show her what to do instead of biting.

You have to make her understand that biting hurts. Give her a little gentle pinch and ask her if it hurts. Tell her that likewise biting hurts. It hurts like many ants biting you at the same time.

First you have to show here that it's painful. Explain to her what she is doing is hurting mummy and making mummy sad.
