Why does my toddler keep poking my eyes. How to get her to stop
She may just be playing with you, but dunno it's not the right way. My girl used to do that, I'll hold her hand, put them away and look at her and say "no no! No poking! Let's poke tummy! " she gets it after a while. Try that?
oh... that has to stop, cos might endanger another child if she keeps at that. time out for her when she does it again. first 5 mins, then 10 mins, then 12 mins... every min feels like an eternity to a toddler!
omg my LO used to do this as well. I think they're attracted to eyes as they move around. like those googly eyed toys lol
lol, I think your kid is playful! Just tell her that it's not nice, and Mama don't like. it's a phase, it will pass :)
Talk to her and hold her hand next time she tries to poke ur eye. Hold it firm and tell her sternly to stop.
She's probably just trying to get a reaction from you. The next time she tries to do it, distract her.
