Mix race registration

Hope I’m not ruffling any feathers with this question... I’m Malay and my husband is Punjabi. As some of Singapore’s policies are race related (unfortunately), should we strategically list one race over the other in the double barreled race registration for our child’s benefit in the future? Which should it be?

Automatic the registration will follow the father race. For me, I ask them to follow me which is Malay for LO future like education subsidies under Muis and etc..
