We have been looking for a nanny for a very long time. My mom prefers someone recommended over those from an agency. But now that the urgency is there, I think I don't have a choice. Can you help me out with this and probably suggest where to find a good one?

In our family, we prefer those who are recommended by someone we know. It's more secure for my mom because it's a guarantee of good character :)
