My Girl is 1 yrs and 5months, and I am now pregnant with my second girl at 33weeks. Before the MCO, she was very very attached to me, but due to MCO I sent her to my relatives house as I need to work, so I have not seen her for 1 month plus, through video call she doesn't seem want to engage with me or look at me in the phone, will a toddler at this age forget her her Bonding with mummy if detached for too long?

Hi Irene. I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time during this MCO. It seems like your daughter’s behaviour is most probably her reacting towards the changes due to MCO. If you and your daughter have formed a solid attachment in the past 1year and 5 months, this temporary separation due to MCO should not lead a toddler to forget her parent-daughter bond. Having said that, MCO is a difficult period for both you and your daughter, as both parties are trying to adapt to this new normal. If possible try to engage with your daughter with more creative ways while video conferencing, or check in with your relatives on how is your daughter doing and etc.
