Found that 'Baby Bites' contains sugar and salt. I've heard that baby shouldn't have sugar and salt until 1yo. So if 'Baby Bites' ok for 8month old baby? If not any natural finger food? As I would rather making puree myself than buying puree from market.

Recommend BeBeMi , no salt, no sugar and is organic from Korea. Can go their facebook BeBeMi Asia and check out. If not can try the other brand like japan or happy baby, they have a bit but not as strong as Baby Bites. The one beside pigeon can be found in NTUC. Happybaby can get from iherb. First timer use this "DQC001" for discount. This is snack, good for bringing out for a bite of munch, if you can can self make apple chips, slice them thinly and baked.

HiPP has finger foods like biscuits and baby snacks without any added sugar. Plus, it's organic. Perhaps you can consider HiPP products? A lot of my friends rave about HiPP food items. http://www.agapebabies.com/agapebabies/brands/g-m/hipp.html

I believe babies don't need artificial snacks, fruits is a very good alternative. I gave my boy blueberries when he was 10 months old onwards, and then overtime I introduce other fruits and give him as snacks throughout the day.

What is the reason for giving baby puff? I don't give puff for my baby at all, if she want to snack I will just offer lot of fruits like Apple, banana, watermelon, honey dew etc Or homemade oatmeal bar or muffins.

no need to give puffs or snacks. it's better then baby doesn't start snacking from a young age.

No need for snacks actually, just prepare some fresh fruits for snacks!
