If possible, get your husband to hand express it out for you. get a cold cabbage (must put in freezer first) then put on your breast after like.. few minutes, your breast will soften and get your husband to massage your nipple first then do hand express for you. At this point you hand express yourself no use cause its pain and you wouldnt put too much stength. I've been through this and my husband milked me like a cow cause i was running fever already for like over a day. Nipple will pain, but better tahan before it becomes worst. I was biting on a handkerchief or towel when my husband doing hand express for me and also crying.. but have to tahan. Take care k!

I had a blocked duct twice and had slight fever both times. What i did was take a long, hot shower and massage affected breast under the shower. After, continue nursing or pumping. It will go away after a few days. Hang in there!
