Braxton hicks does not make you feel like pooping. That's already contractions. Braxton hicks is only tightening feeling in your belly and should not feel painful, just an uncomfortable feeling. When it comes your belly will feel really hard. Comes and goes. Try to change position or drink water. Normally these 2 methods will make it go away. Contractions does make you feel like pooping when it gets intense. And no matter what you do that feeling stays and it gets intense by time. Better call the hospital to let them know how you're feeling.
Both can feel like strong cramps but real labour contractions will come at regular intervals. Intervals will get shorter and contractions stronger.
