Breastmilk and Formula

Does anyone know if I can mix freshly expressed bm with formula milk(already mixed with water) in the same bottle? Doing this as my bm is currently at around 10ml only..just given birth 5 days ago

Yes u can. Although since your supply is only 10ml now, you might want to feed your BM first before formula to ensure baby drinks all the BM first. Sometimes baby may not finish all the milk and the precious BM would be wasted

Yes. Though theory will say give bm first than fm so as not to waste in case baby cant finish the mixed formula.

No please dont! Just latch your baby. Dont need to resort to formula.

    I think formula is alright as some mummies couldn’t produce enough supply yet for their newborn. Nothing wrong with formula.
