Does a newborn recognise a daddy as much as mummy? I hear babies get familiar with their mum's smell. Is this also thr case for fathers?

yes ,baby do recognise daddy . If daddy had close bond with baby. Personally i m a new daddy , i talk to my baby when he is in my wife stomach . And when he is born , i carry him as much as i can and also did talk to him and he recognise me. The way we carry him will also make him feel the same or the tone we talk to them will make them get familiar with
