parenting duties

Ya. We always have. My husband unlike majority of Indian husbands share parental duties. While my daughter was young, he would carry her during the nights she won't sleep. He would sit with me throughout the night when she would cry of colic pain. Even now, when she is five, my husband makes her sleep, feeds her, and does all the things that I do. "I won't do this or that" was never a phrase that either of us used. He is as much a parent as I am, and we both do things accordingly when it comes to parenting. Yes, one thing that only I do is, teach our child, her homework, making her bag to school and stuff. He sometimes, tells her bedtime stories. :) I think it's imperative for a father to be involved in the child's growing up.
