I went for scaling and polishing during second tri. Seems like best trimester to go, and just have to inform the clinic you are pregnant. By third tri, sometimes mummies may feel too uncomfortable to lie on their backs on the dental chair for the duration of treatment as well :)

Yea.. I went when I just entering 2nd trimester.. Did scaling and polishing.. Let Dr know that u r pregnant and he/she will be more gentle because pregnancy will cause sensitive gum (will bleed more easily and probably more painful)

yup. I went at my second trimester for scaling and polishing. it is ideally best to let dentist know you are expecting. she is very nice and suggest treatment to be done over 2 separate sessions over a shorter duration each session.

yes i did because having a bad toothache and i don't want keep taking painkillers, as long as you communicate with the dentist what your concern and let them guide you what do and don't.

2nd trimester can. As long as you inform your dentist prior to appointment and also before they begin any procedure. Avoid going in your 1st and 3rd trimester

I went a month before due date, afraid no time to go after delivery.. only did scaling and polishing as my dentist didn't recommend my usual floride treatment..

went in 2nd trimester. same dentist but she was more gentle in scaling n polishing. also gave me some rinse for the sensitive gums during pregnancy

Yup 2nd trimester best time to go dentist. By 3rd trimester u may find it uncomfortable to be lying on your back for long period.

Yes i did so for my whole pregnancy as I did my braces in the same month before i got to know that i was pregnant.

yes for my 1st preg i went at 16weeks and extracted 2 tooth for my 2nd preg i went at 36 weeks
