Dear parents, Is it slapping kids is bad? I am bad temper person and also suffering from depression. I often slap my kids and shout on them especially when i am on bad mood and then my kids doing mistakes or won't listen. I regretted afterwards, but its happening again and again. I promise myself to not shout or slap my kids again but when happening again i just lost my mind and i couldn't control myself.

First of all, are you undergoing therapy ? Do you have any medications? Slapping is very bad. We want to reprimand out kids not shame or demean them. The action may show a different meaning more over it is on the face. No matter what it is respect should be there. A line should be drawn. Laying hands does not solve anything. It only shows your kids otherwise.
